playing with slide shows
Anita posted one of these.
She did a much better job than I did, I just wanted to see how it worked and threw some graphics from the site up. They make an odd kind of sense combined. There are a couple I would yank out — okay I did yank them out. It is fun. The music might get really annoying if I cannot figure out an off switch for it.
Wait. There is an off switch. That little volume symbol at the bottom left of the slide show window. Woof. Saved.
*note : if you are on dial up that might kill you, i did not minimize anything I just grabbed pngs which are pretty big files all combined
*note ii : this has been changed out so no one gets killed by slide show continuous play, click the image to play the slide show

Jeez I came here at work and all of a sudden the whole office woke up.
[fumbling for the volume thingy…]
[okay does that say “bang bang bang” or is that just my wacko brain doing that?]
Oops. But hey, no dial up, you can actually see it.
Max, Your talents are infinite! That was awesome!
Thanks, Jennifer.
“Bang bang bang”
I was on the phone when I opened your blog and it just starts playing this. I had to yank the router cord. LOL
Really cool slide show and the music totally works too. Love it.
Max this is EXCELLENT!
This one is going on my e-mail train

PS TO CUT THE MUSIC OFF CLICK THE LITTLE SPEAKER ICON ABOVE ROCK YOU IN THE LOWER LEFT CORNER OF YOUR POST-THESE ARE ALL ON CAPS BECAUSE MY KEYBOARD IS HAVING A STROKE OR SOMETHING…SORRY
PPS-
I just noticed the speaker logo above Rock You isn’t visible when you have dark solid colors on the pictures-but it’s there
Thanks. It was fun.
Show of hands, how many people are never going to open this blog with their speakers on again?
Oh, my hand is up!
(Of course, I never have my speakers on anyway, unless there’s something in particular I want to hear.)
You do not count, you do not work in a corporate office.
I need to make one of these. Great show, Max. [oh, and I turned my speaker up all the way for the song]
Yay!
The music is what makes it.
[Finally, that film degree is paying off.]
Oh my god, I LOVE IT! Way cool! Yipee!
Yay!
I created one, too, and your song is the best pick. Anyway, I can’t figure out how to add the music. I keep saving my selection but no cigar. Oh well.
The music is on the right, I just clicked it and it took. Maybe if you have saved the show it will not add music until you punch edit to add the music?
Oh, I got it. Hey, now I can read your blog and listen to the music in the background. It goes so well with it!
You are a whiz.
Hey Max!
Thanks for the plug in your post!
You’re mega sweet – but your slideshow just rules.

The music is definately what makes this slide show.
I have been cranking it up and letting it play background as revenge on the bad new neighbors who are too loud. Suprisingly, they have become much quieter. That or I am losing my hearing.
This slide show has taken over the page. I must wrestle it.
You could post it on a page instead of as a regular post. Then you could title it slideshow or something. Once you do that the only way it will play is if the page is selected.

That would be the adult thing to do but it is my sparkley new toy so I am letting the whole blog go rampant and out of control.
MAX YOU ARE SO COOL ;-)
I put your blog up on my computer at work and let it play over my speakers non-stop- of course I work in a warehouse that SOMEONE has said was haunted so it’s not like I get a bunch of slackers hanging out down there all day.
Ha.

Did you ever see The Adventures of Max and Cow?
Thanks for the reminder!
:
Now appearing at Anita’s Computer
The Adventures of Max and Cow…
Anita, have you seen any ghosts yet?
Always …
amm
Anita has not told us yet she is too polite but we are the ghosts.
It seemed PC to not mention it ;-)
You are a Christian martyr Anita.
The slide show has better music than Max and Cow but Max and Cow have better dialogue.
Bless you Max- hope you could hear that over the sizzling lightning bolt that just whizzed by my head.
To sum that experience let me quote a great character from today’s world of film…
MOO

LOL! That damn Cow. She steals all the best lines. She gets a bigger trailer too.
