What kind of sociopathic organization fights to make an animal endangered. They must really hate wolves.

We have sent donations to a handful or organizations in the past few months specifically for the wolves.
I have a real soft spot for them.
Wolves are my big cause. And dogs. And cats. And… pretty much if it is a mammal with fur and four legs — and a few with fins and no fur.
Why are people slaughtering wolves anyway? There must be some reason no matter how inane. Are they eating people? I’d like to know the justification behind it.
I have no idea why someone would want to shoot a wolf. There are no documented wolf attacks on human beings. You have a better chance of being bitten by a dog.
