white heron christmas
The white heron visited yesterday. It is unusual to see the white heron in the little River Walk stream when it is full. Usually the beautiful birds visit when the stream has been partially drained and the water is low. I think of it as a White Heron Christmas now. That is not to say the ducks are not “beautiful.” Just not quite as otherworldly as the white heron. The ducks were socializing with the white heron too. That was funny and endearing to me.
I just moved into a smaller apartment in the building (downsizing!) so have been going crazy reorganizing everything to fit. There is an order to my moves. The bed goes up first. The office desk goes up second. Everything else is a free for all. I got this all sorted faster than should be possible though and got the little tree up. Yay! So it is a real Christmas.
The little tree wears pearls. It is tradition!

Merry Christmas all. Smooch!
