twins!

Hit my friend Bianca’s gender reveal party for the twins. (Twins! Holy cats!) I was Team Girl, with a fall back vote for a girl and a boy. Girl & Boy won. Yay!

There I am in the selfie with Bianca and our friend Natalia. Bianca and Natalia are freakishly photogenic. Probably I should not even get in photos with those two, I bring the photo quality down a lot. Dammit!

Bianca and her partner have very large families which was pretty interesting for me, coming from a small family. The gender reveal party was big like a sporting event, there were so many people there, the house was full, the backyard was full, there were tents up and tables up and there was still spill over. Bianca said that was really only a quarter of the family they both have too and they are going to have to rent a hall for the shower.

People brought diapers to the gender reveal party. There were so many people bringing diapers and baby wipes, there was a solid wall of diapers and baby wipes stacked up along the hall walls too. Those babies are never going to run out of diapers. Wow. There is seriously something to be said for big families. Though I suspect cooking for that party required military precision and troupe movement skills. 

The twins come in September. Yay!
