Texas and the rain. There is more rain predicted on and off. Some of it would not be problematic under normal circumstances, but circumstances are not normal, the ground is saturated, anything coming in at this point will turn into run off because the earth cannot absorb it. There are over a hundred confirmed dead. There are still many missing. Many of the lost are children from camps along the river. Another of the lost is a first responder who got caught and pulled away during a rescue. The storms and floods stretch for miles, covering many counties. It is catastrophic and terrible.
