Sweet Mother Mary! The SAG-AFTRA strike is over! Yay yay yay!
Okay not entirely over, the new tentative agreement still must be ratified by SAG-AFTRA members, but the SAG-AFTRA negotiating committee worked hard and hit hard, if they are good with the agreement, I am thinking the membership will be good with it too.
This has been a long hard year. Thank you SAG-AFTRA negotiating committee. Thank you WGA negotiating committee. Thank you Teamsters, IATSE, and so many otherS who stood with us during the strikes.

*Also, something to be aware of, the SAG-AFTRA members who have been marching with WGA since WGA went on strike May 2 and the WGA members who have been backing first WGA and then SAG-AFTRA have been on the picket lines 190 days. That’s a long fucking time. Fuck you, AMPTP. And. Thank you, WGA members for holding strong and SAG-AFTRA and Teamsters and IATSE and everyone who marched for keeping the faith this long and this hard.
