paralyzed

I am kind of paralyzed by the California fires, watching places I grew up in and traveled turned to embers and ash. I read the updates, pick up some funny memes, post, watch. Numb.

Friends are evacuating.

And don’t have anything to go back to.

And I am so far away.

I can’t do this all night.

I have to work.

It’s hard to break out of shock and do the brain thing.
