  1. The last time I lit my fireplace, all the smoke alarms went off. That was in 2000.

Holy cats, Michele, what are you doing up this late?

[You must clean that chimney right now.]

  3. Actually, I woke up at 3:30 and could not go back to sleep. Sigh.

  4. I spend most of my time wishing for Snow- and that always makes me miss having a fireplace.

Things that promise destruction have their charm

Most beautiful things in this world in balance sustain life but in too large doses destroy it.

[Speaking of balance Michele you need a bubble bath and a pedicure]

We are in the middle of Spring here although it feels more like the start of Summer. About average temp days already. Naked might be the only way to combat summer.

  9. Still sweating it in Texas. Put a marshmallow on the fire for me.

Fall is coming but we haven’t had enough rain yet to safely light a fire.

It is so strange to think of anyone not having enough rain when Lousiana and Texas have been getting pounded.

The plus here is, this is a gas fireplace [no pesky wood issues] and everything outside is concrete anyway so would not burn.

The negative here is, this is a gas fireplace and everything outside is concrete.

I’m glad I have my problems.

  13. Lucky you. Fireplaces rock!
