charring the zen garden rake
Who had a little Zen sand garden on her desk. You know, one of those mini boxes of sand with a little rake in it? You are supposed to rake the sand in tense moments and it is supposed to bring you to a sense of calm contemplation. So what does my friend do with the little Zen sand garden and rake? Does she rake the little sand box smooth with the nice little rake? No, she whips out a Zippo lighter and chars the Zen rake for fun and amusement. I tell her, Don’t do that! You are mocking the forces of Zen feng shuiness!
Does she listen?
No. She chars the rake more just to be contrary.
My internet crashes. Her internet crashes. Internet crashes for associates in Texas, New York, Greece –– she knocked out the internet on three continents.

It must have worked as she seemed happier after all.
I am sure she takes mad pride in taking down the net but everyone was pretty stressed at the time, I was offline for a week and had to keep showing up at the Pickford Center and begging a connection till it got fixed.
Oh good times. That was when I lost my hard drive and almost all of my digital photos because I was too stupid to have it all backed up properly.
A couple of weeks ago there was a wave of hard drives and phones crashing. I wonder if AJ’s been up to it again?
That is a spectacular graphic, btw. Love it!
That was AJ dipping in at Susan’s site. I told her not to do it but did she listen? No. We are lucky the whole net did not come down again.
